Teaching: Sanjeeva Balasuriya
Fall, 2007 I am teaching the following courses this semester.. Registered students may access the course webpages (through WebCT, known locally as "ConnCourse") by clicking on the links. MAT 112-01: Calculus I   (syllabus) MAT 112-02: Calculus I   (syllabus) MAT 301-01: Real Analysis I   (syllabus) My teaching interests are in applied mathematics (broadly defined). I am currently listed to teach courses such as calculus, differential equations, mathematical methods, real analysis and dynamical systems. I am happy and able to work with students interested in pursuing independent studies (or honors seminar topics or projects) in areas such as chaotic dynamics, fluid mechanics, applied analysis, mathematical biology, and geophysical flows. Basically, if you are interested in applied mathematics, I'll be happy to talk to you! I am also advising the Connecticut College teams in the Mathematical Contest in Modeling , organized by the Consortium of Mathematics and its Applications (COMAP) . If you are interested in participating, please contact me. |
